What is AINP- International Graduate Entrepreneur Immigration Stream?
The International Graduate Entrepreneur Immigration Stream (IGEIS) is targeted for qualified international graduates from outside of Canada who want to launch innovative and start-up businesses in Alberta. The nominees can apply for permanent residence to the Government of Canada – IRCC.
What are the requirements of the IGEIS?

| Education | Have completed at least 2 years of full-time education from a designated post-secondary institution in Alberta, resulting in a degree or diploma and a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) |
| Work Permit | Have a PGWP valid for at least 2 years at the time of the submission of Expression of Interest (EOI) |
| Language | Minimum English at CLB 7 or French NCLC 7 for each language skill |
| Business Establishment | Must establish a new business or buy an existing business in Alberta with a minimum 34% ownership. | Work Experience | Have a minimum of 6 months of full-time work experience that can be a combination of actively managing or owning the business or equivalence. Equivalence include experience with a business incubator or business accelerator, or completion of entrepreneurship program courses. The following adaptability factors will greatly increase the chance of receiving a Request to submit Business Application:

The AINP is currently accepting Expression of Interests (EOI) under the IGEIS. The information provided in the EOI, the Business Proposal Summary and Net Worth Worksheet will be assessed, and points will be awarded by the AINP based on the IGEIS Points Grid. Alberta may select candidates with the highest-ranking points and invite them to submit a Business Application.
