Newly updated:

Under NBPNP, international graduates on a federal post-graduate work permit whose occupation falls under NOC skill-level D are not eligible to apply to the program.

However, as a temporary measure in response to the challenges posed by the continuing COVID pandemic, the Province of New Brunswick will accept applications under the NB Skilled Worker stream from international graduates working in New Brunswick in a NOC D position and who meet the following criteria:

  • must meet eligibility criteria of the NB Skilled Worker stream;
  • have to be a graduate of a New Brunswick designated post-secondary institution; and
  • hold a federal Post-graduation work permit that was issued upon graduation from that New Brunswick institution

This measure is temporary, and applications meeting these criteria must be submitted on or before April 30, 2021.
