What is Semi-skilled Agriculture Worker with Existing Work Permit sub-category?

The SINP- Saskatchewan Experience (In-SK) – Semi-skilled Agriculture Worker with Existing Work Permit sub-category is for semi-skilled workers who have previously worked in Saskatchewan for a minimum of six months as a General Farm Worker or Nursery and Greenhouse Worker on a valid work permit. After being nominated, the applicants can apply to the federal government to become Permanent Residence.

What are the requirements of this sub-category?

The applicant must:

  • have a permanent full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer. The job must be a NOC 8431: General Farm Worker or NOC 8432 Nursery and Greenhouse Worker.
  • have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.
  • have worked for more than six months for the employer offering you the job, with a valid work permit. Your job offer must be for the same career that you have been working in for the past six months.
    • If you are not yet working in Saskatchewan, you can apply if you have proof that you worked in Saskatchewan before for a minimum of six months.
    • Your work permit must be for
      • Seasonal Agriculture Worker
      • International Experience Canada
      • Temporary Foreign Worker Program
  • have completed the equivalent of Canadian secondary school or above, with an Educational Credential Assessment.
  • have a minimum score of CLB4.
  • intent to live and work in Saskatchewan.
