What is SINP-ISW-Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category?

The SINP- ISW- Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category is for skilled workers who do not have an offer for a skilled job in Saskatchewan but have already been in the IRCC Express Entry pool.

What are the requirements of the SINP-ISW-Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category?

The applicant must:

  • live outside Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada, but not a refugee claimant;
  • score at least 60 points on the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) point assessment grid.
  • have a valid Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Code.
  • have a language test result that meets the federal Express Entry language requirements. According to different federal immigration program, the Express Entry language requirements vary.   • have completed post-secondary school or training that is comparable to at least one year of Canadian education. You must have earned a diploma, certificate, or degree
    • For all education outside Canada, you must submit an educational credential assessment (ECA) from IRCC's list of approved organizations.

  • Have work experience in a job that is not on the Excluded Occupation list. For eligible occupation, please contact Springwind Immigration Consulting Service at 647-869-6678.
    • The minimum need for work experience is:
      • For skilled professionals (not tradespeople): one year work experience in the past 10 years.
      • For skilled tradespeople: two years work experience in a skilled trade in the past 5 years.
      • One year work experience in Canada in the past 3 years (skilled tradespeople and skilled professionals)
      • Your above work experience must in the field of your completed post-secondary education or training.
