What is SINP-In-SK- Student?

The SINP- Saskatchewan Experience (In-SK) –Student sub-category is for graduates from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. Applicants need to have a job offer and have worked for at least 6 months in Saskatchewan. After being nominated, the applicants can apply to the federal government to become Permanent Residence.

What are the requirements of the in-SK - Student sub-category?

For students who have graduated from a Saskatchewan institute, they must:

  • Have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Saskatchewan with a certificate, diploma, or degree.
  • Have worked for at least 6 months of paid employment in Saskatchewan.
    • Eligible types of work experience include on-campus, off-campus, co-op terms, graduate fellowships that can be verified by your institution, and work experience gained on a post-graduate work permit (PGWP).
  • Currently hold a valid PGWP.
  • Have a permanent, full-time job offer in your field of study from a Saskatchewan employer. The job should be in one of the following:
    • in NOC 0, A, or B

    • related to your field of study and requires post-secondary education.
  • Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter
  • If the job offer is in a NOC C occupation, the applicant must have a minimum English test score of CLB 4.

For students who have graduated from an institute in Canada (outside Saskatchewan), applicants must:

  • Have graduated from a program equivalent to at least one academic year (8 months) of full-time study from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada with a certificate, diploma, or degree.
  • Currently hold a valid PGWP.
  • Have worked after graduation with a PGWP for at least 6 consecutive months of paid employment in Saskatchewan in a job related to your field of study.
  • Have a permanent, full-time job offer in your field of study from a Saskatchewan employer. The job should be in one of the following:
    • in NOC 0, A, or B
