Why is Alberta a great place to start your own business?

Alberta is a major province in Western Canada. With an estimated population of 4.4 million in 2020 and an average annual household income of more than $120,000. The oil and gas industry accounts for 60% of Canada's output. As one of the three prairie provinces, the province has a strong livestock and agricultural industry, with nearly 70 percent of Canada's beef coming from the province. In addition, the famous Banf and Jasper National Parks, as well as the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains and winter ski resorts, attract thousands of international and domestic tourism to the province and contribute to the growth of the film and television industry.

Furthermore, Albertans have an entrepreneurial spirit supported by a young, educated, and diverse workforce. Starting a business is easy in Alberta as they have the lowest corporate tax in Canada and no provincial sales tax.
